One of a collection of 22 books found in a special footlocker stashed inside Count Lowls‘ private study in Iris Hill.
During the course of Chapter 90, the party took the time to skim through this book to get a sense of it:
- Language: Orcish
- Content: The confessional account of a survivor of one year spent aboard the dread pirate Vadrack’s ship, complete with tales of beatings, keel haulings, life drainings, and the endless whispering of his haunted vessel.
Vik spent time studying the book in Chapter 93 and learned disquieting information about the Bloodwind and Captain Vadrack.
In Chapter 100, after uncovering the list of gifts for the Mad Poet, the party was able to organize the books into groupings of three that were each relevant to researching one particular gift. This book was discovered to have particular information on the Captain's Tricorne.
