In Chapter 103, Vik learned that Har-Lar had learned cooking techniques for frying onions from a group of Ogres. “It all comes down to the spices.”
In Chapter 135, Vik discussed Desna and the Dimension of Dreams with Har-Lar. Vik was concerned about the negative impact his party had left on the Dreamlands in their previous visits. Har-Lar countered that the nature of that realm is Chaos, and change–whether for good or bad–is not only not harmful to the realm, but to be expected.
In Chapter 136, Har-Lar shared his full name: “I learned the Way from Lars 'The Greybeard' Goldenhelm. I am Harlin Potra Otvos Vintilia Larson.”
In the same chapter, on the Night of the Pale, Har-Lar informed the crew that his beloved Lilly, a beekeeper from Bellis, died that year.
In Chapter 151, it was learned that when the Starling had reached Bellis on 16 Abadius, Har-Lar had taken his leave of the ship there.
