In Chapter 89, Dora learned from Lowls’ journals that Neruzavin is a lost city built by aliens, a sister city of sorts to Thrushmoor, and that it has three active Star Stellae. Believed to be where Xhamen-Dor landed on Golarion. (And currently lives?)
In the Act III Prologue, the party experienced a series of visions from Xhamen-Dor's impossibly long lifespan, which included flashes of the timeline of Neruzavin.
- Many tens of thousands of years ago, Flying Polyps left Star Stelae there.
- Ten thousand years ago, a lone comet, carrying a piece of Xhamen-Dor, fell into the heart of Neruzavin during the chaos and destruction of the Earthfall apocalypse.
- For many thousands of years, the Star Seed slumbered, though there was some stirring around 5,700 years ago as some unknown “pods” were being destroyed.
- 5,352 years ago, scholars (possibly from Ninshabur) found Neruzavin and named it “the Cradle of Heaven.” They soon left to spread the word of Xhamen-Dor.
- But two years later, the Tarrasque‘s rampage unknowingly destroyed every record of Xhamen-Dor’s name and the Husk returned to slumber.
In Chapter 125, Dora observed Weiralai on the surface of the Dreamland's moon, in a psychometry vision, as she made clear her intention to travel to Neruzavin.
In Chapter 150 (Part 2), the party learned from the Mad Poet that the location of Neruzavin can be found in the pages of the Necronomicon.
In Chapter 173, the party learned from the Prisoner that Neruzavin was built by the Flying Polyps, and that the Polyps were later imprisoned underground beneath the city by the Great Race of Yith.
