DEMON LORD
Known as the Shining Scourge. Chaotic Evil god of Deserts, the Sun, and Senseless Warfare.
An old being that was a full deity during the time of the Azlanti. He fell from full godhood in the Age of Darkness, but enough beings in the desert wastes of the south continued to worship him that his divine spark remained as he became a Demon Lord. He was the Sun god of the Azlanti. In the deep deserts of Garund, the sun is seen as a force of destruction and wrath.
In Chapter 108, Dora saw a psychometry vision of a young Gruk enacting a sacrificial ritual dedicated to Nurgal.
In Chapter 127, the party encountered statues of Nurgal amongst idols of the deities of the Azlanti pantheon in the Dreamlands city of Arventon. He was depicted as a humanoid man with bulging muscles and an oversized lion’s head.
In Chapter 174, Pandora helped Grip to recover a memory involving more details on Nurgal binding rituals.
