In Chapter 156, the party learned that Bucket Boy had been making food deliveries there before his disappearance, and determined it to be “Ground Zero” for a Xhamen-Dor infestation in Cassomir. It seemed from the outside to be boarded up and abandoned, but Bash found evidence of traffic in and out of one particular door.
The party entered the site in Chapter 157 and found it to be a slowly growing hotbed of fungal growth, mutated Violet Fungus, Seeded Corpse Puppets, and dying citizens infected with Xhamen-Dor‘s infestation.
In Chapter 158, Dabwick cleared the site of supernatural fungus by adopting the form of a Fire Elemental and scouring it clean.
