DECEASED
Engineer and contractor, and member of the City Surveyor’s Guild in Cassomir. A prominent public figure, and friend and colleague of Dabwick’s. Human male. Drowned himself at a worksite following several months of depression. Friends with Miacknian Mun.
In Chapter 154, the party learned from Jacob Grossmantle that Thomel had been depressed for a couple of months—ever since the end of Abadius (back when Lowls reached Cassomir and Lowls and Mun left town)—and that it only grew worse after several of his friends passed away. He used to go to the Sceptered House frequently, but stopped going entirely after the end of Abadius. He had been friends with Miacknian Mun, Ayah Boulos, and Evie Taru, and that they had all apparently been part of a group or club of some sort.
In Chapter 155, the party learned that Thomel had been a member of the Esoteric Knights of Evolvement, and had been accidentally Seeded with Xhamen-Dor‘s Contagious Lore infestation by Etham Baler in Abadius 4719.
