A Giant Flea first spotted by Dabwick while using a Riversight spell in Chapter 91. The vermin seemed unusually intelligent, and bore the unholy symbol of Xhamen-Dor on the underside of its abdomen.
During a Scry spell cast in Chapter 93, Dabwick observed the creature resting with a mysterious Ratfolk Witch and was likely his familiar.
In Chapter 94, Dabwick was able to verify that the creature continued to trail the Sellen Starling over the course of another week.
In Chapter 100, Dabwick verified that the creature was still following the Starling and had reached the wilds of Razmiran.
The party learned its name in Chapter 112 when Nheb appeared during the Alhool attack.
In Chapter 115, when the party interrogated Nheb in the hold of the Starling, they learned that the Ratfolk seemed to have no idea what the symbol on Ulf’s abdomen represented. They learned that Nheb was traveling south at Ulf’s direction and insistence, with no clue what the flea was leading him to (or why).
In Chapter 147, Mister Wanderlust revealed that Ulf was Weiralai‘s “ace in the hole” for locating Neruzavin.
