A Denizen of Leng seen at the wheel of a mysterious ship in the Act II Epilogue, speaking to a dead woman about their “mistress.”
A pirate referenced in Emotions of the Past and The Shadow’s Ship, two of the books in Lowls' footlocker.
Captain of the black, red-sailed living longship the Bloodwind. A magus. Fights with an enchanted scimitar, wears magical leather armor and a black and red tricorn hat. Known associates include Ellish and Weiralai.
In Chapter 101, the party learned that he was known as Weiralai‘s close companion and right hand in the Dreamlands, and that he had been seduced, restrained, and humiliated by Thema, who then stole his hat.
In Chapter 117, the party encountered him in the Dreamlands. When Grip refused to turn Thema/Dora over to him, he spoke of his “debt” having been paid and his “mistress” (presumably Weiralai) having been recovered before launching into an assault.
In Chapter 118, Vadrack nearly killed Grip with a single blow. As Grip, Dora, and Dabwick extricated themselves from the Dreamlands, the captain told Dabwick he would see them when they woke. Vik remained behind and secured Vadrack’s hat by invisibly plucking it off his head just before the Bloodwind disappeared.
In Chapter 120, at the end of a brutal fight on the deck of the Sellen Starling (on the Material Plane), he was sent back to Leng when Grip struck what would be a killing blow.
In Chapter 123, the party was able to learn more about Vadrack's past travels from his magical journal.
In Chapter 125, Dora observed Vadrack on the surface of the Dreamland's moon, in a psychometry vision from Deggorhbaatha’s headband. He had delivered Weiralai to the moon for some unknown reason, and that appeared to be the end of their dealings.
