In Chapter 103, the party arrived in Brellin’s palace in the middle of a massive party. They observed the viscount to be a human man, very urbane and handsome, with high cheekbones, blonde hair, lovely sympathetic green eyes. Stricken with some condition that makes him frequently expectorate a black tar-like substance.
Rumored by Aurelia Octavia Prescott, Mynoriah, and Xelialle to “like people of all ages and descriptions.”
The party at his palace was abuzz with rumors that he might be dancing the Sunset Waltz with his Beloved.
In Chapter 104, the party learned that while one of Brellin’s signet rings had been claimed by Lowls at noon, they could obtain another one if they gracefully extricated Brellin from his promises to dance the Sunset Waltz with Lady Urdrenda Splinterbone, Ardvin Telgriette, and Maudette.
In Chapter 106, having completed their task, the party returned to Brellin and secured one of his signet rings (along with his belt). And then he did, indeed, dance with his Beloved.
And it was horrifying.
