The name given to the vast deserts, grasslands, and steppes on the continent of Casmaron where Ninshabur once existed. Once a vibrant, highly populated region with many cities, it was reduced to nothingness when the Tarrasque rampaged and destroyed it around 5,000 years ago.
Nominally part of the Empire of Kelesh, but largely left alone. The northern part of this area, now known as the Whistling Plains, has a small population of nomadic residents, but the bulk of the region is the nearly uninhabited Meraz Desert.
