A sludgy black liquid substance which fills craters on the moon of the Dreamlands, first seen by Dora in a psychometry vision of a trip taken there by Weiralai and Vadrack.
Dora and Vik recognized it in Chapter 125 as something formed on the moon as it captures the evaporation of the Night Ocean, a mysterious body of black liquid found at the “end of the Dreaming.”
It is primarily known for its ability to remove pain and memory.
