A group of Nethysians dedicated to protecting the world from knowledge that could destroy it. Caretakers and protectors of the Mysterium and its vault. Took control of the site because of its complex wards and guards, and turned it into a depository for dangerous books. They keep an extremely low profile, so much so that even the name of their order is not a commonly known fact in Katheer.
In Chapter 173, the party observed several of their number guarding the exterior of the Mysterium. They gave off the vibe of being Monks: white robes, black sashes, quarterstaves, and they stood perfect still and unmoving before the site, their faces hidden by full white hoods. Later, they learned that the bulk of the Stewards were actually Magi, while Sister Thyrr was a Cleric and Elder Lythiin was a Wizard.
