One of a collection of 22 books found in a special footlocker stashed inside Count Lowls‘ private study in Iris Hill.
During the course of Chapter 90, the party took the time to skim through this book to get a sense of it:
- Language: Varisian
- Content: An unsettling epistolary novel: the writings of three unnamed sisters, one from Hlanith, one from Thran, and one from Kiran, who seem to have no jobs or lives, but who each sit in their own separate lighthouse on the Oukranos River waiting to catch sight of their lover Vadrack once more, even if from afar. Yet each time they catch sight of his sails, they either turn away or pluck out an eye.
In Chapter 100, after uncovering the list of gifts for the Mad Poet, the party was able to organize the books into groupings of three that were each relevant to researching one particular gift. This book was discovered to have particular information on the Captain's Tricorne.
