a.k.a. Archi Umbra
DECEASED
The Last Chancers’ arcanist. Android Summoner with an extraplanar Construct lion from the plane of Axis named Leo.
After the events of Act III Interlude 2, in 4660 A.R., Archimedes went to the room he kept, and looked forward to meeting up with his friends again, because they accepted him as who and what he was. He studied the silverdisks and planned to experiment with them on Leo.
By the year 4719, Archimedes had moved to the city of Cassomir and adopted the name of “Archi Umbra.”
In his identity as “Umbra,” Archimedes ran a store called Stars Our Destination, which sold “arcane & technological oddities”. He was a resident of the Shipyards district and a member of the Esoteric Knights of Evolvement.
He was not present the night Etham Baler accidentally Seeded the members of the Esoteric Knights with Xhamen-Dor‘s Contagious Lore infestation, due to a simple “kerfuffle” with a shipment at work that kept him tied up.
But in Chapter 158, the party learned that before Lowls left town with Mun in Abadius 4719, the Count stopped by Archimedes’ store and Seeded him and Leo. Lowls was hunting for something to help him with “a problem that requires an unconventional solution.” In the confusion that followed, Lowls stole a relic of some sort, and then left the shop wide open for looters to do their worst while Archimedes was distracted.
After drinking a technological fluid, Archimedes bid farewell to Golarion:

I have come to believe that we are given a specific number of losses we can sustain. We are given a certain number of meaningful relationships. And that when too many of the first are suffered, and too few of the second remain… or when none remain… it is time to leave the body.
I have sold the remainder of my goods. I have paid my debts. I have reflected, with great fondness… and sadness… on my life. I have seen horrors. But I have also known what I would term, at least, happiness.
Count Lowls’ theft of a pair of Ring Gates from Archimedes’ shop was witnessed in Pandora's psychometry reading during Chapter 183.
